Delays have caused real dilemmas for council teams nationally, with high waiting lists reported for care assessments and housing adaptations. This coincides with an increase in the number of people eligible for services. Mob1 was founded to meet this head on, with tools that illuminate best-practice, support informed decision-making and record set reasoning on-the-go. We offer ‘heads-up presentations’ and training during progress through each pathway. This keeps projects within known regulation and guidance, and helps cross-disciplinary design-teams of OTs, Technical Officers, Contractors and Support Staff to collaborate more easily.
The Future Landscape
Legislation and regulations for Housing have evolved faster than our tools. From the expansion of Awaab’s Law to the digital requirements of the ‘Golden Thread,’ the professional burden placed on practitioners as ‘decision-makers’ has reached a new high point. Mob1 is a collaborative project dedicated to mapping and navigating changes to provide the ‘Illuminated Practice’ required for managing teams doing this work.
